HONA NEWS: Brush Update
We want to keep you informed about a recent packaging issue that has temporarily affected some HONA orders.
At HONA, transparency matters to us, right down to the smallest details. For years, we’ve used longer brushes in our gel bottles to help you access every last drop of product. However, a change made in 2022 to the tolerance between our gel bottle and brush has, in our latest batch, caused brushes to bend slightly when fully inserted, resulting in misshaped or difficult-to-use brushes.
The solution is already in place
We’d already been developing a new and improved brush based on your feedback, featuring smoother bristles and a slightly rounder shape for better control and application. We’ve now fast-tracked the update, and the new version is already in production.
Going forward, any faulty brushes will be automatically replaced with the improved version. You may still receive some of the original style brushes while we transition stock, but these will only be brushes with no faults that have been quality checked.
The new HONA brush features:
- Smoother DuPont™ nylon bristles for enhanced application
- Improved absorption for better product pickup
- A slightly rounder shape for added control and precision

Already affected?
If you have received a product with a misshaped brush, you can now order a FREE replacement brush with FREE UK shipping via our website. If you choose to add other products to your order, standard shipping charges will apply.
